The $0 Tools I Used to Start Selling Digital Products

How I Launched With Free Tools — No Budget, No Problem

You don’t need to spend a cent to get your first digital product off the ground.
When I started, I had more determination than dollars — so I made it work with 100% free tools. And to my surprise? They were enough to launch, sell, and deliver my first digital product.

Here’s what I used at every stage of the journey:

🎨 Designing the Product

Canva (Free Version) – Drag-and-drop ease to design my eBook, worksheets, and social graphics. Templates made it look polished.
Unsplash + Pexels – Free, high-quality stock photos that didn’t scream “stock photo.”

🛒 Selling the Product

Payhip – Free-to-use platform for hosting and selling digital downloads. No upfront cost — just a small fee per transaction.
Gumroad (alternative) – Also beginner-friendly, with a simple storefront and built-in checkout.

📦 Delivering the Product

Google Drive (View-only link) – I uploaded the final PDF and shared a secure download link via Payhip's delivery automation.
MailerLite (Free Plan) – Great for sending welcome emails and delivering the product automatically (once verified).

✏️ What I’d Do Differently

Now that I’ve gotten some traction, I’d upgrade to Canva Pro and unlock automation features in MailerLite — but for that first product? Free tools were more than enough.
